"Hello,

My name is John D. I am a 24 year old male. I graduated in May 2013 from Assumption College where I double majored in History and Philosophy. I am currently working and studying at Providence College where I am pursuing my M.A. in both Modern European and American History. The concentration of my modern European studies are centered around 19th and 20th century German history and philosophy especially 1890-1919. My predominant interest in American history is the early colonial era and relations with Native Americans.

In addition to my studies at Assumption I was also Lead Member of the Assumption Philosophy Club, Vice President of Assumption College Phi Sigma Tau chapter (International Philosophy Honor Society), Member of Assumption College Phi Alpha Theta chapter (National History Honor Society), a Participant in 2013 Phi Sigma Tau student lecture series, and Winner in the Humanities Category at the 2013 Assumption College Undergraduate Research Symposium.

I genuinely enjoy conversing about these topics and love helping other people learn about them. History and Philosophy can be extremely inspiring subjects and I hope for the opportunity to help others understand them so that they may be inspired as I have.
