"Hello!

My name is Slater, a Physics Graduate Student at Montana State University (MSU) working towards my PhD in Physics/Astrophysics.

I received my Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2021 graduating with Summa Cum Laude and University Honors.

I have been in Graduate School for 2 years now, teaching and tutoring students in introductory college physics; including Classical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Optics and Astronomy.

My method of teaching/tutoring is exploratory based, meaning I want my students to have relevant experiences and examples to real world problems before diving into the theory and mathematics behind solving problems. I have found that this method of teaching gets students more engaged and curious about the subject matter at hand, leading to a better learning experience and knowledge of the subject that sticks with them.
