"Hi! I'm Brianna. I am currently attending Virginia Commonwealth University in my final semester of the Elementary Education and Teaching program. Upon graduating I will be licensed to teach all elementary grade levels and subjects. During my time at VCU I have completed multiple different elementary level subject-specific classes as well as methodology classes. I have also had an abundance of in-classroom experience working with students one-on-one, in small groups, and as a whole class.

My dream has always been to become a teacher with the hope of making learning fun and attainable for all children. I firmly believe that this starts with the individual providing the lessons and teaching as some of my most memorable moments in school are from teachers that made the learning exciting and interactive. I like to spend the first day of tutoring having fun with the topic. Following the initial breakdown, I like to provide multiple different interactive activities that address your tutoring needs; these activities I like to work on together. Once I see that you are starting to grasp the material, I then like to let you shine and show me your understanding independently; this allows me to provide you with any final comments and get you on your way to being as successful as possible.

One thing that truly makes me happy is seeing the students I have taught become their best and most successful selves. In order for that to happen I believe in the learning process being a partnership in which my students and/or parents of my students have the ability to provide input and suggestions on different resources, methodologies, activities, etc. that work best for you and/or your child.
