"My name is Nathan, and I am a Senior at Mississippi State University. I am a History major with a Political Science minor and I originally from Jacksonville, FL. At MSU, I have had the opportunity to serve at the VP for the MSU History Club, and I am also involved in various other historical, as well as political organizations on campus. I am currently a student worker for the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library, and I help to create the various different collections we have available for research there. As a History major here at MSU, I have maintained a perfect 4.0 on all major-related courses, and I love to share this knowledge with others interested in learning more about the subject.
As far my background in tutoring, I have always had a love of both history and politics, and love to help to encourage this same enthusiasm in others! I specialize in American History (specifically nineteenth-century political and racial history), but I am well versed in all periods of American History. I also have experience in modern European History, as well as modern East Asian History.
In the field of Political Science, I am particularly experienced in subjects related to Civics, American government, and public administration. I am also able to teach Geography, although my knowledge in the field is not as strong as my other subjects.

I try to create a low-stress environment that encourages students to work through problems themselves, utilizing me as a guide when they get stuck and need help.
