"I'm Rachel! I am graduating from American University in May 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and French. During my time at American University I realized my passion for teaching others. I became someone who is always willing to lend a helping hand to my peers. I participate in the American University French Club where I help students improve their French speaking skills. I also am active in my school's undergraduate law journal where I work with students on legal research. I bring a diverse array of knowledge and skill to my tutoring approach, and I try to make learning a positive experience for students. I have my own presentations and worksheets that can help familiarize the student with the topic. I give students an overview of the topic and leave time for answering any specific questions or helping with homework assignments.
I am eager to help students reach their goals and achieve academic success. I have four years of experience tutoring children in another language. At my local Temple I volunteered to tutor students ages 5-14 in Hebrew prayers. I tutored students in classroom settings under supervision of a teacher and tutored students in one on one sessions.
I am easy to reach and am always willing to tailor my lessons to the needs of the student. Feel free to contact me with questions or schedule a lesson!" less...
