"Although I grew up with a Hispanic background, I didn't start learning Spanish until my freshman year of high school. I immediately developed a love for the language and culture, and started deepening this love and understanding by traveling. I have travelled to Spain, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua, and I've lived in Spain and Costa Rica. I believe the best way to learn a language is by traveling to a country where it is spoken. However, I have a lot to offer to help students while they're still here. I have 5 years of experience as a high school Spanish teacher and I've tutored students ages 5-25 for 10 years.
