Learning should be fun and relevant, not dull and boring. I believe that the right 1:1 tutor-student relationship is what makes the difference! I teach students to look for "clues" in the questions which helps them narrow-in on the correct answer. Once you learn to apply the nursing process to your way of thinking then you start to think like a nurse and the correct answers become obvious.
