"I am a current third year law student at Boston College Law School, and before that I graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University in 2020 with a B.A. in Political Science, minors in Environmental Studies and International Relations, and a concentration in Security Studies.
I am extremely passionate about helping people to make the most of their education, and I think that tutoring is a great way to provide support to students to help them maximize their academic experiences.
Before coming to law school, I worked as an ESOL teacher supporting adult students through language learning, citizenship classes, and job readiness training. While in undergrad, I worked for one year at Northeastern University's Writing Center assisting students with papers for a variety of different classes and professional purposes, and focused on helping them learn to improve their writing overall as opposed to making quick changes to one piece of writing for them. Prior to that, I taught English for six months at a technical high school in rural Rwanda.
In law school I have participated in client counseling, negotiations, and mock trial competitions. I have also done clinical work and held other positions which have allowed me the opportunity to represent clients under supervision of a licensed attorney, including in a courtroom.
As a Political Science major, I studied concepts of government, public policy, and international relations. I am eager to draw on my own studies as a base to contextualize and make more dynamic the topics you are studying, with the hope that I can make this field of study as interesting for you as it has been for me.
Feel free to reach out to me to discuss working together -- I would love to hear from you, and I am always open to suggestions and new ideas." less...
