"Hello my name is Bao! My philosophy for tutoring and teaching is to make sure my students have fun and enjoy their time with their academics! It is important to me that I create an atmosphere with my students where they will never be judged or feel put down when they ask questions, or if they do not understand something. I am nothing more than their teacher, I am not above them, they are not above me; I will work to earn the respect for my students and in return I will then get their respect. Academics and grades are important, and I will definitely get my students to their goals! This to me is simply a byproduct of my teaching style; my students will cultivate their ability to learn on their own, as well as the emotional feeling of satisfaction when it comes to learning!

My credentials follow a strong emphasis towards lower grades and middle grades education, I have been both tutoring and teaching in this area for 2 years. Whether it be one on one private tutoring, small group classes, or large classrooms; I have done it all! I also have experience with special needs students and pre-k as well! With my educational background following through both a concentration in math and science, as well as my love for writing; I’ve created a generalized academic structure within me allowing myself to understand a variety of variables when it comes to teaching!
