My name is Rachael and I have over 11 years’ experience in teaching in general and specifically in English as a Second Language. I am a dedicated teacher that specializes and tailors each lesson to your needs. I have a B.S. in Education and I am a certified teacher in Elementary and Special Education in Pennsylvania, this can be verified through the PA Education web-site, just put in my name. My teaching style is student centered, hands-on and engaging. That means that I will be providing you with the tools necessary to communicate effectively to achieve your goal and you will be using the language constructively in each session.

I have taught levels from basic Beginners to Proficient and I have experience in all areas from General English to Business Professional English. I am patient, organized and know how to simplify grammar to be easily understood. You can choose an accelerated program to kick start your English or take it slowly and go step by step. The TOEFL and Cambridge preparation that I guide you through is thorough and extremely effective. We start by creating a score goal, going through each aspect of test, so you feel comfortable with it and then we study key aspects required, taking many practice tests along the way. The end result is a prepared and confident test taker.

I have worked overseas in Morocco at a Language Center (5 years) and most recently I was the Director of Studies (3 years) at Rennert Language School on South Beach, Miami. My experiences are varied and I am open to all cultures and love to learn new things through my students.
