"Welcome to my page! I'm a pianist, composer, and music producer from the US with more than 10 years of teaching experience. I have a deep passion for music education and extensive experience in the music industry as I worked for the Recording Academy, which is the organization that produces the GRAMMY awards. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Technology and Composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and am currently continuing my music studies at Abbey Road Institute. I am a patient, kind, and fun teacher who guides and motivates my students to reach their full musical potential.
With me, students can learn how to play their favorite songs on the piano, read sheet music, improvise on the piano as well as music theory (scales, melodies, chords and advanced theory). Students can also learn how to compose, notate, and produce their own music. I also teach music production in Logic Pro X, where students can learn how to make original beats, record their voice and instrument, and use midi instruments to create songs. I can teach just about anything musical that the student wishes to learn!
During our lessons the student sets the pace. I tailor each lesson to specifically fit my student's interest and abilities to ensure they are not only progressing, but also enjoying the process of making music. If you're already playing the piano, we can work on improving your technique, expanding your repertoire, and challenging yourself to learn more difficult and rewarding pieces. If you're new to music production, we can start with learning the software and producing simple tracks using your favorite style of music as a reference point. If you're beginning to write your own music, I can share with you tools and techniques to take your melody or lyrics and turn it into a song. I use an overhead camera to ensure the highest quality lessons.
Previous musical training is not required. My lessons are for all ages and levels of experience, so feel free to book me!" less...
