"Hello there! I have over 15 years of tutoring: 70% of my students are K-12th and 30% are college/adult students looking to review biology or writing or even math. Initially, tutoring was a side gig to get me through college but since I've graduated, I have decided to continue tutoring. Tutoring has been so rewarding and I like to continue being part of someone's academic journey.

everyone is family so everyone is treated with respect and understanding. I just want to make sure I do my best to help my student succeeds. Tutoring is also exciting because you become involved in different ways of teaching and learning.

I can provide the various ways I know that work well but I am also very patient. It is important to always have someone who recognizes which part of the topic is the weakness because after overcoming this weakness, it is smooth sailing!

This is my field! I love biology! Bio means life and -ology means 'study of' so the study of life is appreciating the big picture but also understanding the little pictures.

I do have the most experience working with K-12th. As a certified substitute teacher from Hawaii, I have worked with children with diverse backgrounds and learning styles. I am also a professor at two community colleges in Oahu, Hawaii with the mathematics and science division. My courses are anatomy and physiology and medical terminology.
