"I'm a graphic designer and educator in Atlanta. I've taught Adobe Creative Suite and Graphic Design to many wonderful students at Georgia State University and Atlanta College of Art since 1997—where I learned that the fastest path to learning an app is with a project. I'll show you the steps to finish your project, demonstrate each, let you try it, then follow up with a roadmap for how you can continue working on your project after our session or sessions, if necessary. I originally learned Adobe software at Atlanta's regional certified Apple Training Center. Therefore, my students become familiar with official Adobe terminology— an important communication tool in a school or workplace. I specialize in publication and print design using Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator with an emphasis on Typography. I genuinely enjoy teaching people and children of all ages, and we usually laugh a lot in my classes while we learn. I have a B.A. in Painting, Drawing and Printmaking, followed by a certificate in Commercial Art.
