I’ve happily been a licensed Spanish teacher for 10 years now. I am American but consider myself a native speaker because of having grown up in Mexico and Bolivia. I earned a degree in Spanish Education from Anderson University and have taught grades 5-12, AP, and tutored College level. I love Spanish literature and also Spanish grammar! I understand that learning a second language can be stressful and daunting and I try to make it as comprehensible as possible.

In addition, I have spent 7 years teaching ESOL classes as the EL coordinator. I love helping students that are new to English learning the basics or polishing what they already know. Languages have more in common than most people think, and it is easy to find connections once you begin to look for them.
