"My name is Sarah! I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA in 2024. I am now a freshman at Brigham Young University, where I am majoring in Music Education and minoring in Psychology. I play the violin and hope to be a middle school Orchestra director! For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about education. I believe that every learner is unique and smart in their own ways. As a tutor and future teacher, it's my responsibility to find out how my students best learn to help them confidently succeed. When I'm not studying or playing the violin, I love to scuba dive, ski, read, and paint.

My tutoring experience began in high school, where I would often help my peers with schoolwork. I soon began to formally tutor through a service club. As a senior in high school, I took a class called "Teacher Cadet," where I learned everything from learning styles to special needs. Through this class, I had the opportunity to work one-on-one with students and experience teaching a full class. In recent years, I have begun working as a tutor both in-person and online. I absolutely love the feeling when I can tell a student is beginning to understand the content and feel more confident in themselves.
