"I love teaching people new things, helping them in their learning journey, and seeing them finally succeed in something that once was challenging, which is very fulfilling for me. From a young age, I have been interested in language learning and teaching. I have an associate degree in psychology, a bachelor's degree in mass communication with a concentration in multimedia journalism, and a Level 5 Tefl certification. I am also a Spanish speaker and can provide Spanish tutoring. Some of my relevant college coursework includes Spanish language and literature, classical and modern English literature, and public speaking. I was a travel and culture writer for the blog "Finding Florence" and wrote for Blending Magazine and cultural writing for the St.Petersburg Mural Festival. I also did copywriting work for the Cibochat recipe blog. My approach to teaching and tutoring English and Spanish involves a variety of activities such as games, puzzles, and creative projects with real-life applications. Learning should be fun, and engaging and should equip the student to use learned material in real-life settings. I have about 2.5 years of experience doing volunteer and paid work with children and teenagers. I also have classroom experience with up to 16 students, worked as a teacher's assistant for an art workshop, and have worked in three different summer camps.
