In addition, I also have experience editing and writing research articles, websites, social media posts, emails, newsletters, video and tutorial scripts, technical documentation, poetry, and more. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA with a B.A. in English and a Minor in Digital Humanities. For my graduate studies I pursued a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS), after which I worked as a science librarian at UCLA for approximately 6 years. Prior to that, I worked as an instructional design and technology consultant at UCLA. My instructional design background informs my learner-centered approach, where I help you break complex problems down into manageable tasks in order to reach your goals. My multidisciplinary background means I am comfortable helping you with writing and editing in any subject or discipline.

I am offering one-on-one sessions at this time, as they provide the best opportunity to tailor advice to your unique writing style. In a session we might articulate your writing goals, analyze if your writing clearly and effectively communicates your ideas, identify any grammatical errors in your writing, and more. As an author of 7+ academic articles, I am also happy to teach you how to better edit your own work, which is a skill that will benefit you for the rest of your life.
