"Hi. I’m Erin. I am a Minnesota state licensed Elementary teacher. My husband, son, and I recently relocated from Minnesota to Colorado. I have been substitute teaching in Minnesota on and off for just over 20 years. Most recently, I was able to sub as much as I needed in one particular elementary school. I substitute taught there consistently for the past 13 years! As a substitute teacher, I am able to teach a variety of subjects and, more importantly, a variety of children of different abilities and needs. You name it and I have done it! I am absolutely passionate about teaching. Over the years I have worked with countless teachers, teaching styles, strategies, and curriculum. I’ve seen and done a lot of what works in teaching and a lot of what doesn’t work. Consequently, I have many tricks up my sleeve for helping students make sense out of difficult subjects!
Although I’m comfortable teaching most subjects I mostly enjoy reading and math. I like working in small groups or one-on-one. I have much experience working in Special Education and Reading/Math intervention. I have a lot of patience and an abundance of empathy. My goal is to help my students learn and gain confidence in themselves.
I have extensive experience teaching math intervention and special education.
Please feel free to contact me for any reason you need help. I think you might enjoy my help." less...
