"I have a strong background in engineering mathematics, science, and physics. I did my bachelors in India in Civil Engineering and my masters from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. I graduated top of my class in high school and in college in India. I specialized in structural engineering for my masters. When I came to the US, 10 years ago, I took my GRE, I scored 321/340 both verbal and math combined. In my high school, I scored the highest possible marks in math and physics.

Professionally, I am a structural engineer in Colorado and I am licensed as a professional engineer. I am proficient in the US building codes like the IBC, ASCE, ACI and AISC codes. I am proficient in designing concrete, steel, wood, and masonry structures to US design standards. I have taught math and science to middle school, high school, and college students. I have taught adult learners as well, both online and in-person setting. I used to teach group classes when I was in India on Civil engineering subjects like surveying, structural mechanics and on engineering mathematics, calculus, and differential equations. I feel like math, science and engineering can be fun if people connect with it and understand how it helps in real life. I believe that if we understand the fundamental principles of math and science, it can help us in normal life activities, like buying, selling, financing, and a lot more. The fundamentals help in understanding the problem statement more clearly and it is easier to come up with a solution or at least an idea to solve it.
