"I specialize in Social Studies, Special Education, Criminal Justice, and Education-holding active licenses in Virginia for both areas (K-12 for Special Education and 6-12 for Social Studies). I also have expertise in the areas of criminal justice and teacher education. I have taught students at every level from kindergarten to graduate school, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of diverse learning needs to each educational setting.

I earned my PhD in Education Policy, Planning, and Leadership from The College of William & Mary, where my dissertation focused on the mental health leave processes in higher education. I also hold a Master’s in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction, and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice with a minor in History, both from Old Dominion University.
