I have over 15 years experience as a tutor and teacher. I have a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and Math. I also have Masters in Education from George Mason University with a 4.0 GPA. I am licensed to teach Chemistry and Middle School Math in Virginia and I won the ETS award of excellence in Praxis 2 chemistry exam.

I have a passion to teach students and the happiness which students have when they understand a concept is priceless to me. I am always ready to help!

I make the difficult chemistry concepts easy to understand by first providing students with structured examples followed by independent practice.

I have helped several students get a high score on their VA Chemistry SOL exams.

On a personal note, in my free time, I enjoy cooking and reading mystery books by Agatha Christie. I live with my husband and daughter in Virginia.
