"Hi! My name is Elle and I am an enthusiastic educator with a passion for social science teaching and a penchant for exploring ancient cultures. Let me share a glimpse of my journey. I graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University in April 2024. My major was Social Science Teaching, which allowed me to take courses in history, geography, political science, sociology, and psychology. As a lifelong learner, I also pursued minors. My first minor was TESOL K-12, which helps me to teach English to speakers of other languages. My second minor was Ancient Near Eastern Studies (with an emphasis in Hebrew) which allowed me to explore one segment of world history that is oft-neglected.

I have often helped students one-on-one, in small groups, and even in full classes. I firmly believe that a fun learning environment is key to success.
I recently completed my student teaching in Utah, where I had the pleasure of teaching in a high school government class and a junior high world history class. Thus, my students have ranged from 14-18. I have just finished student teaching, so I have 8 months of experience with many different subjects under my belt. I would love to work with you over the summer, because I love working and learning with people so much that I can't handle this summer break!" less...
