"Hi! I am Laura & I am a Licensed Social Worker in the Albany area. I currently work as a Program Coordinator for a non-profit organization. I supervise four staff and work with individuals who are currently hospitalized for various psychiatric reasons. I enjoy guiding my staff and teaching them clinical skills. I graduated two years ago from SUNY Albany with a Master's in Social Work. In graduate school I really enjoyed writing papers and completing research. As a tutor I'd love to be able to help students receive excellent grades on their papers and help develop their minds to think like a social worker.

I am knowledgeable in an array of evidence based practices and clinical skills. I am currently Licensed in the State of NY to provide therapy, as well as supervise a small group of people as they work with individuals with serious mental illness. If I were to become a teacher teaching Social Work courses I would love to focus on research, community organization, and clinical skills.
