"My name is Summer P and I am a teacher. I am 24 years old and this is my first year as a teacher. I graduated college in December of 2021 and remained a long- term substitute in the Autism Program. I then accepted a job offer in the position I currently have. I currently teach in the Special Education Department at my school; more specifically, the Self-Contained program known as SLD. The specific subject I teach are math, science and prevocational skills.

I have worked with students of all ages. During Covid-19, quarantine, I worked with a group of students to help keep their school skills as well as their social skills as normal as we could. I have also been a coach for an elementary cheer team for the last 6 years.
