"Hello,

I graduated from Texas Woman's University with a Master of Science in Mathematics in May 2021 and from the University of North Texas in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. I was nominated outstanding mathematics graduate student during my graduate program at TWU in 2020.

Currently, I am working as a full-time Math Lecturer at UNT and as an adjunct math instructor at Collin.

I have taught mathematics (pre-algebra through calculus 1) at UNT, TWU, Collin and NCTC colleges.

I have worked as a middle school Spanish teacher in California and K-12 substitute teacher in the Lewisville, Carrollton, and Coppell school districts. I have completed the teacher certification program.

My previous background is in Engineering. I received my Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering degree from Lamar University in Texas and my Master of Science degree in Engineering from San Jose State University in California. I worked as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Silicone Valley Area in California. I was employed at the reputable company, Sun Microsystems in California. I was the lead Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer for a major project which involved working with a team to design, build and relocate Sun Microsystems’ manufacturing facility.

I held the position of president of the American Institute of Industrial Engineers and was nominated Outstanding Industrial Engineer.

Math is my passion. I enjoy helping students succeed in math and believe in themselves to increase their confidence in math and grades at school.
