I have a strong background in classical studies, having graduated from the prestigious Girls' Latin School (Boston). At an early age, I reaped the benefits of outstanding preparation, study habits and knowledge. I find this background extremely helpful when I tutor students who need to prepare for standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, and HSPT. Beyond GLS, I graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a double major (BS in Education/Sociology), from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

After teaching elementary school children in the classroom for 5 years, I spent the next 10 working 1:1 with some of the bravest students ever... youngsters at the Ronald McDonald House & Children's Hospital. Through these touching experiences, I truly saw the merits of setting individualized (yet realistic) goals. In the 10 years since my rewarding time at Children's, I've found working with middle school & high school students on standardized test prep, and overall subjects (math, grammar, writing especially) to be equally rewarding.
