"I enjoy sharing my love of learning and my passion for motivating students to be the best they can be, teaching them how to learn and guiding them to success. Education should do more than simply transmit information; it should awaken a challenge and a passion.

I have had the pleasure of teaching career changing education classes, opening new avenues for the adult learner, as well as tutoring elementary math and English to the younger generation.

Please know that I have taught adult education classes for 7 years in a Medical Technology Institute. I find that Basic English and Basic Math classes for adults returning to the classroom is foundational for their professional success. I have also had the pleasure of guiding young students over their stumbling blocks of elementary math and English and challenging them to want to achieve more. I try to create a challenging and interesting atmosphere for the youth to help them realize their potential, build their confidence, and improve their learning experiences. I assign homework after their lesson, go over their work with them at the next session, and provide periodic progress reports.

I like to make the class a place where the student wants to be. I understand that not all students like math or they become bored. Understanding that students learn in different ways, I engage students and help them feel confident in their mathematical abilities.

I find that students enjoy being guided by imaginative and innovative teachers. It is very important to me to make sure that the basic foundation is established well before creating an atmosphere of unique self-expression. Without proper grammar or usage, a student is unable to express themselves in a professional manner.

Good financial records are fundamental to the success of a business. Teaching bookkeeping and accounting foundationally allows me to share the information necessary to carry the student to a successful future learning experience.
