I have an easygoing, approachable personality and love making science come alive for students. I believe that if you can relate the concepts you are learning to your own life they are easier to understand. My lessons are personalized for each of my students and often include short video demonstrations of chemical reactions to help illustrate concepts being taught.

I'm a certified science teacher with experience teaching all levels of high school chemistry. I also have over 10 years of experience tutoring both high school and college level chemistry and ACT science test prep. I have an undergraduate degree in chemistry and a MA in Education. Because of my teaching experience I am able to use specific strategies to help students based on their personal learning style.
