"With over 20 years in teaching, and a wide variety of training in several approaches, I adapt my instruction to your child. I am not a one-size-fits-all. Be assured that I can teach the way your child learns best. I also monitor progress to ensure your child IS making progress! I use a variety of assessments to determine the strengths and challenges and develop my lessons as indicated.

I started as a Kindergarten teacher and quickly moved into the role of Literacy Specialist/Interventionist. I have a M.S. Ed. and an Ed.S in Literacy Education. I am certified by the state of Maine, K-8 in both regular and special education, as well as K-12 Literacy Specialist.

My expertise is in reading at the K-5 level and I love helping children become strong readers and writers.I 'm also available to tutor elementary math.
