"My name is Justin. I am looking to pursue a graduate degree in either English or Psychology in the coming year. To bankroll my goals I will teach you or your children anything I can. I specialize in English, (with an emphasis on writing), but can handle most subjects up to about 9-10th grade with ease. I have worked with students and professionals of all ages on many different kinds of writing, as well as the process of writing itself. I can work with just about anybody, but of course prefer motivated partners!

My professional tutoring experience starts at the UAlbany writing center, (that’s kind of a big deal for writing center people), which required taking a pretty rigorous class beforehand. After the fact there were weekly meetings in which we discussed tutoring practices. The rest has come from my time subbing at both public and private schools in my area. Unprofessionally I have always been helping friends and family with their writing.

I read for fun. I write because I like to. I have had a ton of practice of my own, as well as an understanding of how others write. I have worked on dissertations, resumes, cover letters, poems, stories, and academic essays. I’d have MLA memorized by now if they would stop changing the rules.

Anyone and everyone seeking help on a writing assignment they have been procrastinating on should seek me out. The sooner the better!
