"Hello everyone! My name is Brittany and I have been teaching and tutoring for over a decade! I have tutored through a college support center, a public tutoring center, and privately on my own. I have taught college at three local colleges ranging from developmental math classes to algebra, statistics, geometry, calculus and trig. Even though I teach at the college level I have tutored from kindergarten to high school to college students to adult students looking to go back to school or study for a work-related exam. I absolutely love what I do and will try everything I can to get the lightbulb to go off!

I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, a Master's degree in Business, and my Doctorate in Education. I tested the waters in the corporate world but my passion lies in teaching. My schooling allowed me to see different learning and teaching styles that I now use in the classroom and with my one-on-one students. Nothing compares to the satisfaction I get when a student turns to me and says "ohhh I get it now!"

I use everyday objects and analogies to help make math concepts more clear. Then we will work our way up to the technical terms to meet the needs of your class expectations. Practice makes perfect, math is like a sport and as such, we need to practice!
