"I've had a 25-year career in screenwriting and producing prime time network television shows for CBS, NBC, ABC, Showtime. I've written feature films over the years and have one in development by a famous international director as of today.

I've created, sold and written 16 prime time network pilots for new series, six of which were shot and two that went to series. My scripts have been nominated for Best TV Movie or Miniseries of the Year and Best TV Episode of the Year by the Writers Guild of America and the Mystery Writers of America.

I've been teaching screen and TV writing for the past 20 years, at schools including UCLA, NYU, Syracuse University and, for the past 17 years at Chapman University, which was named this year by the Hollywood Reporter as the 3rd best film school in the nation. Among our Chapman students have been the Duffer Brothers and Justin Simien, creators of "Stranger Things" and "Dear White People."
