"My name is Eric. I just finished my final semester at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville for my bachelor’s degree this past fall. I transferred from Pellissippi State Community College to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I am a physical geography major with a physics minor. I have an extreme interest in weather-related topics. I am planning to do an online Meteorology master’s program at Mississippi State University this fall. While I minored in physics, I also could have easily minored in mathematics because I love it just as much.
I belong to the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I have received “A” final grades in all my weather-related classes. I have been on the Dean’s list at Pellissippi State Community College and the University of Tennessee, and I have received both cum laude and magna cum laude GPAs in my semester grades. My final UTK GPA was 3.31, and my final Pellissippi GPA was 3.66. I got an “A” in Calculus 2, my favorite of all my math classes, and I would love to tutor students in meteorology, climatology, physical geography, mathematics, and physics. I know how challenging these subjects can be, but they can be very rewarding and even fun once you learn how to do them well.
The subjects I will be able to help the most with will be Meteorology, Climatology, Algebra, and Calculus 1 and 2, but I can help as well with physics, English, and beginning Spanish. I will give as much of my knowledge as I possibly can give for whatever help is needed. I will ask students if they have any questions. I will answer questions in as helpful a way as possible, and I will use methods that help retain information.
Please reach out to me and schedule lessons if you have any more questions. I am extremely easy to reach and will respond very quickly. I want all my students to learn and understand their material." less...
