"I have been giving trumpet lessons for the last 30 years. I have taught elementary students through college students. I enjoy seeing students learning to enjoy playing and overcoming challenges. My approach is very positive and affirming to the student while giving them goals and things to accomplish.

Every student learns a little differently and motivated by different things. I like to find out what motivates them and build upon that. At the end of the day, music can be fun!

I have a degree in trumpet performance. I have worked with youth orchestras and school bands. I play principle trumpet in an orchestra and have performed as a featured soloist. In a university I have taught music theory as well as music history at the undergraduate level.
