"Hi, I am Karen a single mom of an 11 year old daughter. I am 39 years old. I love sports and love crafting. I love to be around children. It has always been my passion to teach. I just started later in life. I am currently in school online. I am almost ready to graduate in January of 2016. I will have a Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development. I hope to teach school later on. I am also certified in CPR/First Aid /AED until Nov. 2016.

I have experience working with children. I worked at a Preschool for three in a half years . My children's classes I worked with were two-four year old's. I was with the two year old's when I left. I saved and wanted to focus on school and now I am almost finished. I also worked a while back for three years at my old church in the Nursery. I kept children new born up to five years and also sometime had children to stay up until age 9 for a while. So as you can see I have a lot of experience with many ages.

I love to read and love reading to children. I also love to help them read at a better pace !

I am great with children, and have been told that before too. I am laid back and have a caring attitude. Children take to me easy.

My love for history. I enjoy reading and looking up information it is interesting to learn about past happenings in our country or around the world. My favorite part is learning about how people lived back in the 1700-1800's.
