"I love seeing the light bulb go on for students when they discover that they are really their own best teachers - when the student realizes that learning is really big fun. I have taught everything from grade school through college, including ESL. I love international students because they are such dedicated learners and are so willing to work hard at earning an education. I currently teach adjunct history classes; but I love teaching middle school too. My first teaching experience was with 5th graders in Illinois. I still have a passion for the 5th grade. I believe a good foundation built on strong basics leads the student to enjoy learning. Love of learning is the key to success in school - any school, at any level.
