"When I started preparing for the LSAT, I discovered that my background in formal logic gave me an advantage. Over the next four months I studied and improved my score 20 points, placing me in the 97th percentile and earning me a full-tuition scholarship to the top law school in my state. I also scored in the 99th percentile on ACT Reading Comprehension. After graduating with a J.D. and Degree in Comparative Law, I began practicing and coaching speech and debate at the high-school where my wife taught English. It was then that I began helping students prepare for the ACT.

Since then I've helped dozens of students study for ACT and LSAT, with many of them showing far more improvement than myself. My background in formal logic and strong reading comprehension skills were a perfect fit for LSAT tutoring. Recent changes to the LSAT have removed the logic games and placed an even stronger emphasis on reading comprehension skills. However, the LSAT still tests the same reasoning skills needed for argumentation, and to perform to the best of your ability you still need to have a firm grasp of the logic being tested.

My aim is to provide every student with a comfortable environment and the highest quality instruction possible. Test anxiety and limited time can keep you from performing at your best on test day. A competent tutor will work with you to identify your strengths and the areas where you have the most potential for improvement and develop a study plan that breaks the elements of the test down into a series of achievable goals. With each concept that you master your anxiety will dissipate, and by the time you reach test day you'll be speaking the language of the test-makers. Learning how the test-makers think, and what they expect of you, is the ultimate goal in preparing for the test.
