"I've been studying for the LSAT for the past few months, and was able to score a 172 (97th percentile). I've been admitted to The University of Michigan School of Law for Fall 2024. By looking at the test as a competition between myself and the test-creators, I was able to gameify the whole process and have fun with it. I aim to instill this mindset in my students so that the studying process will be more enjoyable. It takes dedication and time to master the LSAT, and if you don't enjoy studying it, it will be difficult to reach your goal score.

Understanding the patterns in the reading comprehension and logical reasoning sections are key to conquering the test. The reading comprehension section consists of passages that have been rewritten from real-world publications. But the passages are all rewritten by the same person, and we, the test-takers, should use this to our advantage. Knowing the tendencies/patterns of this LSAC rewriter allows you to identify the passage's argument structure, main idea, and author attitude in a formulaic fashion.

The logical reasoning section, especially, can be approached formulaically. The test-makers intentionally use unnecessary language in this section to confuse, and take time from test-takers. I'll show you how to recognize information you need, simplify the argument to its bare form, understand the role each component plays, and whether the conclusion is valid or invalid, and why. They're methods I'll teach that'll allow you to eliminate answer choices based on the question-type, and language modality, without even reading the question stimulus." less...
