"I am an experienced special education teacher who has worked extensively with children who have difficulty learning and are considered at risk. My experience are in the areas of Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Autism, and Intellectual Disabilities. As someone who has taught in a variety of settings in grades K-12, including the transition setting, I am passionate about building strong foundational skills to help prepare students for life after an IEP.

I believe that all children are capable of learning if given the opportunity and the correct method of instruction. I use a hands on approach to assist children in making learning come alive and relevant to them. For this reason, I utilize the students strengths, and learning styles to assist them in overcoming their difficulty with a subject and become successful not only in the classroom, but in the real world as well.

I hold Masters in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor's of Science in Education. I am certified to teach in the state of Texas in the following areas:

- EC-12 Physical Education

- 8-12 Human Development and Family Studies
