"Languages, literature, cultures and performance have always fascinated me, as different ways to express ourselves, and teaching is the best way to share what I've learned over the years. My Thesis for 2 MAs focused on anthropology and performance on the border of France and Spain, so I had to master those languages. I think of learning like a puzzle or a game of chess: you learn the rules and then you can play!

I taught English language and literature at the New Sorbonne and Sciences-Po in Paris, including classes in Shakespeare and Modern Drama. I then taught French, Spanish and English at several international schools. I am IB certified for French Language B SL/HL and my classroom students earned a 100% pass rate. I am passionate about teaching, and I love tutoring because of the personal focus, finding the strategies that make YOUR brain work best.

I have 3 Master's Degrees: in Anthropology, Theatre, and Museum Studies, in addition to a BA in Romance Languages and Literatures. I always teach languages with a view to understanding the culture and with equal emphasis on linguistics and communication.

Having taught around the world and worked as a writing tutor during graduate school, I have taught/tutored English to people with many different mother tongues. I have also studied 7 languages, which has helped me to work out some of the puzzles of translation.
