"Hi, all! My name is Stephanie, and I am currently an English teacher at a high school in New Jersey. I have been a teacher for eight years and am passionate about helping students succeed.

Prior to teaching, I graduated from The College of New Jersey with an undergraduate degree in English - Secondary Education. I also graduated from The College of New Jersey with a masters degree in English. I have been a tutor since I started teaching eight years ago. I have tutored students in the following subjects: Reading, Writing, SAT English, and The College Essay.

I have taught every grade of English at the high school level, but I have taught 11th grade English the most. Therefore, I am very familiar with the college application process--specifically writing a spectacular essay for college applications. I have worked with hundreds of students on how to choose their College Essay topic, how to draft their essay, and how to best revise their essay in order to stand out to the colleges they are applying to. I have years of experience in tutoring students one-on-one as well as in group settings.
