"I’m here for you if you are studying macroeconomics in high school or college and need a patient and effective teacher. I am the answer to teachers who unfortunately all too often present this subject without making it relatable and interesting, as well as far more difficult than it needs to be.
With over 20 years of teaching this subject at my local college, my students often comment that macroeconomics is surprisingly the most interesting, thought-provoking class they have taken. A recurring comment is “I see society differently now that I’ve taken your class.” In addition to the importance of knowing how policy makers work to smooth out the business cycle and ensure our collective standard of livings grow as fast as possible, I love macroeconomics because it also trains students to become critical thinkers – to see solutions to problems that others don’t see.
I also work as a senior economic advisor in Washington, DC, where I help formulate the same policies discussed in class. I received degrees in economics from University of Maryland and American University.
I have a true passion for teaching this subject and love it when students realize that “ah-ha” moment and are empowered to explain concepts on their own.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson. I look forward to hearing from you." less...
