"My name is Madeleine, and I am new to Philadelphia. I have left Chicago after thirteen years, and I’m super excited to start my career here. I have my MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I was awarded scholarships under Merit. I've studied painting in Umbria, Rome, and Lisbon, and now I'm looking forward to starting my practice here in Philadelphia!

I have had a lifelong commitment to Painting and Drawing, beginning at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, a public Art’s high school in Washington D.C, and finishing with my Master’s at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In this time, I have worked with undergrads as a TA, and have also led Advanced Portfolio building classes for juniors and seniors in High School preparing for College.

I have worked two long term jobs in Youth education, creating curriculums for learners and students, helping them apply for colleges (scholarships, financial aid, checking their credits) creating presentations, helping lead professional development meetings, creating a budget, and organizing meetings for learners to check their progress for graduation while optimizing a plan for them if they are behind.
