"Hello, I'm Blake! I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a concentration in Education from Colorado State University.

I also played for the football team while dabbling in Mechanical Engineering in my earlier collegiate years. The D1 sporting schedule gave me lots of practice with balancing schoolwork and outside responsibilities. During the end of my time at college I switched to the Mathematics major and gained a semester's worth of experience as a student-teacher. This allowed me the opportunity to teach at a high school where I held multiple daily classes of Algebra 2 & Discrete Math.

I have tutored various levels of math in a one-on-one setting. I've primarily worked with students in high school and college, though I'm happy to learn alongside all age ranges. A particular focus of mine is ACT math prep, having scored a perfect 36 on the math section during my senior year of high school. I also achieved a score of 5 on the AP test for Calculus BC.

I have a passion for finding the right learning techniques that work for you as a student. I believe that anyone can master math concepts, it's just all about learning it YOUR way. I'm a big believer in making the material approachable, and that building confidence paves the way for future success.
