"Hi! My name is Megan. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education, a Master's of Arts in Teacher Leadership, and an Educational Specialist degree in K12 Leadership. I am starting my 11th year as a teacher. I have been a 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and now a kindergarten teacher. I have taught all subject areas, especially math. It is a passion of mine. I also taught Special education for three years. Throughout my time in the classroom, I have tutored students outside of my district with success.

I am looking forward to working with students again outside of the classroom because I know how much extra support can help a child learn and grow. There is only so much time in the day and only so much a child's brain can absorb throughout the day. With movement and breaks coupled with activities, learning can happen, when kids don't even know it. I like to have my students working on projects and hands on with the materials.
