"I graduated with a BS in Marine Biology and have since worked in marine science education, fisheries, and animal husbandry. I have been working in various aspects of marine biology for almost 14 years and while I love the field experience, I also enjoy educating those that are enthusiastic about marine science and ecology.

A majority of my career has been in animal husbandry, but I started as a marine science instructor. I taught animal behavior, shark and fish biology, coral reef and mangrove ecology. The best part of this job was getting to teach lessons inside and then take the class into the field for skin and scuba field lessons.

I have worked in the northeast, southeast and central California. I have experience with animals and ecosystems in all of these particular areas, giving me a wide knowledge base.

I'm very enthusiastic about this field and decided I wanted to become a marine biologist when I was 6 years old! I have worked with seahorses, cephalopods (including those found in the deepest parts of the ocean!), jellyfish, whales, sharks, and plenty of other fishes and invertebrates!" less...
