"For the past 13 years, I have been an online and in classroom instructor for general business management and marketing courses. In the past four years, I have begun tutoring online and genuinely enjoy the involvement. I have over 20 years’ experience as a marketing consultant who develops business strategies for customer lead generation through public relations and digital/social media for business, nonprofits, and membership associations. I have a passion for music, and much of my career was spent in marketing and managing music festivals nationwide.

I Love Tutoring because tutoring has allowed me to help individuals who need a bit of coaching to understand a concept and be able to apply a course principle to an assignment or project. When students are in online classes, notably, they do not have the chance to raise their hand to a teacher to answer a question on the spot. Tutoring allows me as a professor and industry professional to bring insights and guidance in a clear, logical way. Sometimes it just takes going through the work with someone, and then students most often arrive at that ah-ha moment where the concepts click. In the end for me, it is about helping learners fulfill their dreams one course at a time.

I have been a public speaker for over 20 years. There is an art to preparing, practicing and then executing. I believe that no matter what career direction someone takes, you will be taken more seriously as a professional if you can deliver an articulate message with confidence. I teach Public Speaking at the college level.

I have mentored many emerging leaders for the past 15 years. As an instructor I work closely with career services to guide students. As a professional I give seminars on career development for rising talent, and adults with new career direction.
