"I’m Michelle, and I’ve been tutoring for 13 years, working with students of all ages and levels. I hold a BA in English with a minor in Education from Rutgers University and a Master’s in Creative Writing from Randolph College. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of tutoring a wide range of subjects, including Expository Writing, Research & Technical Writing, Business Writing, and English for international students. I also enjoy tutoring French, Spanish, and Reading/Literacy to high school, college, and elementary students. As a published writer, I’m passionate about language and communication. For five years, I’ve worked with Chinese students on their ESL skills, helping them build confidence in speaking, reading, and writing English. Being trilingual myself, I understand the challenges of learning new languages and love using my personal experience to guide others on their language-learning journey. As a native Spanish speaker who learned English simultaneously, I have a deep personal understanding of bilingual language development.
