"Over the past 20 years as a high-achieving student, I ran through the gauntlet of various study strategies, self-help books, flashcards, and note-taking styles. I pushed myself to the limit (and even beyond) by pursuing multiple courses of study while simultaneously leading/designing various research projects/papers and protocols. Through my hard work, I achieved a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in biomedical sciences, followed by a master's degree in physiology and pharmacology from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine So I am confident I can help you understand the topics and develop skills that work for you in the STEM field.
I aim to develop your skills and help you achieve a level of understanding that allows you to teach your peers. Because I have tried so many different strategies myself, I offer a very personalized tutoring style to help you understand the material and think differently (as well as explain the core concepts and principles you will need to succeed). My experience with tutoring has been largely unofficial. Rather, I have had countless classmates, friends, and colleagues reach out to me in the middle of the night to describe topics and help them work through test preparation/homework on a one-to-one basis. I was a leader in my master’s program and dedicated my time to anyone who asked. Often, they would say to me, “You should be a teacher, Logan”.
