What an honor to coach youth! Your investment in education is great wisdom, and my goal is to ensure you have an immediate return on investment.

Successful tutors make learning personal, relevant, and provide evidence of growth. These are my commitments for every student (child or adult) that I coach. I adapt my teaching methods to personalize learning – raising confidence, pacing, and mastery levels.

Most of my tutoring involves three types of students:

1. Advanced academic students who want to achieve greatness on the SAT, ACT, or AP exams. (I have coached three students to become National Merit finalists.)

2. Elementary students who need additional practice and confidence-building in reading, writing, and/or math. (Every student I have taught experiences more than one year of growth in the area mentored.)

3. Middle school students who need organizational skills in order to own their education. (Most challenge themselves with advanced classes in high school.)

I am a certified teacher in English, math, and social studies with thirty years experience and also grade essays for the Advanced Placement tests.
